Mobile and in-shop setup for compatible used ECU, PCM, TCM, BCM, ABS, cluster and other replacement modules across Houston and surrounding areas.
Many used modules can be reused, but the correct procedure depends on the vehicle, module generation and security system. Some modules require coding or VIN configuration, while others require cloning, EEPROM work, immobilizer synchronization or data transfer from the original module.
A used part must be compatible with the vehicle hardware, engine, transmission and software family. Matching the visible part number is important, but it does not guarantee compatibility. Send the VIN and clear photos of both module labels before the appointment.
Programming cannot repair damaged wiring, missing power or ground, network faults, low voltage or an incorrect diagnosis. If module failure has not been confirmed, diagnostic testing should come first.
Send the vehicle details and photos of the original and proposed replacement labels. Compatibility can depend on hardware, software and security generation. A seller’s fitment list alone does not establish whether a module can be adapted.
We review whether the job needs software programming, vehicle configuration, supported security synchronization or data cloning. Keep the original module even if it no longer communicates. Some replacements cannot be reused and require another compatible unit.
