Mobile Auto Electrician & Electrical Diagnostics in Houston

Looking for a mobile automotive electrician in Houston? We bring our diagnostic equipment to your home, workplace or repair shop. Mobile means we travel to your vehicle—so you can arrange electrical testing where the car is located.

Automotive electrical testing at your location

ECU Diagnostics & Programming helps vehicle owners and repair shops find the cause of electrical problems across Houston and surrounding areas. Whether the vehicle will not start, a fuse keeps blowing or a module will not communicate, we test the affected circuits and components before recommending the next repair.

You do not have to bring the vehicle to us for a mobile appointment.

Send your location and the vehicle details. We confirm coverage, access and the work that can be performed on-site. Advanced projects requiring extended testing or disassembly can be arranged through our shop service.

Electrical problems we diagnose

More than plugging in a scanner

A fault code is a starting point. Depending on the symptoms, diagnosis may include wiring-diagram analysis, loaded power and ground checks, voltage-drop measurements, circuit isolation, component testing and oscilloscope signal checks. A code alone does not prove that a module or sensor needs replacement.

Diagnostic starting prices

American and Japanese vehicles: $250 minimum. European vehicles, including Italian luxury brands: $350 minimum. Testing scope and pricing are confirmed before work begins. View services and pricing.

Why does electrical diagnosis take time?

Electrical testing can take two to four hours, and complex or intermittent problems may take longer. Some faults require removing panels to reach wiring and components deep inside the vehicle. You are paying for the testing needed to identify the cause and recommend a repair based on evidence. We discuss the diagnostic scope and fee before beginning; repairs and any additional work are discussed separately.

How a mobile appointment works

  1. Send the vehicle details. Text the year, make, model, symptoms and your address or ZIP code. Include any scan report and parts already replaced.
  2. We confirm the appointment. We discuss the diagnostic scope, fee and access to the vehicle. Let us know whether it starts and where it is parked.
  3. We come to your vehicle. Testing takes place at the agreed location with suitable access and working space.
  4. You get the findings and next step. We explain what testing established and discuss repair or further diagnostic options.

Mobile diagnostic questions

Do you provide a mobile auto electrician in Houston?

Yes. We provide mobile automotive electrical diagnostics at Houston-area homes, workplaces and repair shops by appointment. Send your ZIP code, symptoms and vehicle details so we can confirm coverage and access.

Is mobile auto diagnostics the same as a code scan?

No. A scan can identify fault codes and module data, but electrical diagnosis may require circuit testing, wiring diagrams, power and ground checks, and signal measurements to establish the cause.

Can you diagnose a car that will not start?

Yes. Tell us whether the engine turns over or does not crank. We can review mobile no-start testing, including starter control, power supply, immobilizer and communication concerns.

How much does mobile electrical diagnosis cost?

Diagnostic minimums are $250 for American and Japanese vehicles and $350 for European vehicles. The testing scope, location and price are confirmed before work. Repairs, programming and additional testing are discussed separately.
